Reiki (霊気, /ˈreɪki/) is an energy that puts various things like
physical health, mental health, emotional health in order.

Reiki practitioners use the palm to heal through which cosmic energy passes
through the palm and reaches the patient.

Reiki is based on universal life force. Although there is no
verifiable scientific evidence of the existence of a universal life force.

Energy can stagnate in the body around physical or mental pain. This
causes illness. Reiki helps to remove such blocks so that energy can
flow freely. This is healing.

In the early 19th century, Mikao Usui developed this ancient spiritual practice.

Now it is widely used as alternative therapy.

What happens during a Reiki session?

Reiki treatment can be given in any place where a patient can either sit
comfortably or lie down. But peaceful private, distraction free
the environment is the best place.

Practitioner will invoke universal life force though his palm and
hold over near energy centers [different body area]. Each center is
energized for about 3 minutes.

Patients may fall asleep during this period. And may feel warmth or
tingling sensation.

Reiki sessions can be conducted remotely. Reiki energy can be sent over
several miles. It is quite effective too.

What are Health Benefits?

Reiki is a complementary healing technique and not a replacement of modern
medical treatments.

During the Reiki session, energy spreads through the body curing various
illness, energy blocks.

Reiki can be used to cure or improve health conditions of patients for
various physical and mental illness conditions.

I recently used for alcoholic de-addiction and got a very positive result.

Patients reported various experiences when energy flows through
them. Some fall asleep, some experienced warmth, tingling sensation,
Some have had beautiful dreams.
